Thank you for being one of my sponsors. I will try to keep this page uptodate with my progress so please check back soon, or send an email to marathon@pottsutting.com and I will keep you up to date with my progress.

I started my running last year (2006) and set myself the target of London. I was originally entered for the 2007 race but injuries to my knees during training meant it just wasn't going to happen.

So, I've moved my entry to the 2008 race and spent six months with specialised exercises to resolve all the isses. The added fun of running in 2008 is that I have already arranged a climb of Kilmajaro in February 2008 - oh well they say altitude is good for training. As Africa's tallest mountain at over 19,000 feet I guess I will prove it.

Seriously, I am combining the two expeditions as even more inspiration for you to sponsor me and raise money for my chosed charity - MERLIN. I wanted to work with a charity that had international relevence since we now travel so much, and also was focused on natural disasters and global health.

You can donate online at www.justgiving.com/ianpotts and see how my fund raising is going.

More later,

Ian
